Valve Guide Seal: Service and Repair

Valve stem seals, replacing (Cylinder head installed)

Spark plug wrench 3122B

Press down device 3129

Mounting lever VW 541/1A

Thrust piece VW 541/5

Flexible pressure tubing VW 653/3

Removing 
-

Remove camshafts.

-

Remove valve lifters (do not mix up) and place aside with the running face facing down.

-

Remove spark plugs with spark plug wrench 3122 B.

-

Bring the piston of each applicable cylinder into the "Bottom Dead Center" (BDC) position.
