Fuel Gauge Sender: Service and Repair
Fuel Tank With Attachments

Fuel tank with attachments

Note:  After completing repairs on the fuel delivery unit and/or the fuel gauge, ensure that the fuel supply and fuel return lines do not touch the fuel
tank (transfer of pump noises).

1. Sealing cap
2. Seal
3. Securing bolt
4. Tank flap unit
5. Ground connection
6. O-ring
7. Breather valve
8. 10 Nm 
9. Breather line

10. Clamping washer
11. Heatshield
12. Fuel tank cover
13. Fuel tank cover
14. 25 Nm 
15. Securing strap
16. Fuel tank
17. Seal

Replace if damaged

18. Fuel delivery unit
19. Union nut
20. Supply line
21. Return hose
22. Gravity/overflow valve
