Fuel Door Switch: Service and Repair

Fuel Filler/Rear Lid Remote Unlocking Button E463 And Rear Lid Remote Lock Key Switch E232, Removing And Installing 

NOTE:  Push Button Illumination L76 is integrated in Fuel Filler/Rear Lid Remote Unlocking Button E463 and cannot be serviced separately.

Removing: 

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

-

When removing switches, trim, covers or displays, prevent damage to visible areas of the interior by always applying appropriate tape to
area surrounding the component, and the tools being used (screwdrivers, wedges etc.).

-

Remove door trim.

-

Disconnect electrical connection -arrow-.

-

Disengage retaining tabs -arrows- and remove switch from door trim.

Installing: 
Install in reverse order of removal.
