Press the lever on the brake caliper - 2 - in -  direction of arrow - and engage the parking brake cable -  3 -.

Press the spring clip - 1 - onto the parking brake cable.

With Retaining Tabs on the Parking Brake Cable

Slide the parking brake cable into the bracket on the brake caliper so that the retaining tabs - arrows - engage.

Press the lever on the brake caliper - 1 - in -  direction of arrow - and engage the parking brake cable -  2 -.

Without a Parking Brake Cable Retainer

The parking brake cable - 2 - must be installed free of tension between the bracket on the brake caliper and mounting clip.
