Power Window Safety Switch: Service and Repair

Drivers Interior Locking Button E308, Removing And Installing 

NOTE:  Push Button Illumination L76 is integrated in Drivers Interior Locking Button E308 and cannot be serviced separately.

Removing: 

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

-

When removing switches, trim, covers or displays, prevent damage to visible areas of the interior by always applying appropriate tape to
area surrounding the component, and the tools being used (screwdrivers, wedges etc.).

Remove door trim Body Interior.

-

Disconnect electrical connection -1- and

-

Remove screws -2-. Remove door opener with switch from door trim.

-

Disengage retaining tabs -arrows- and remove interior locking switch from installation frame.

Installing: 
Install in reverse order of removal.
