Oil before installing pin

Secure with Locking Pin T10115

10 Nm

Timing Mechanism Drive Chain

Beginning with model year 2008 the roller chain has been changed to a tooth chain.
^
Removing:
^
Remove engine.
^
Remove control housing cover.
^
Remove timing chain.
^
Remove chain tensioner.
^
Mark direction of travel.
^
Note when installing:
^
Place on in original direction of travel.
^
Chain must lie correctly in tensioning and glide tracks.

20 Nm plus an additional 90° ( / 4 turn)

Replace

Oil before installing pin
