Luggage Compartment Light

The Luggage Compartment Light (W3) is located in the luggage compartment trim on the right side.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim removal wedge (VAS 3409)

CAUTION!
‹› Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

‹› Remove ignition key.

‹› When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool

(VAS 3409), screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

-

Pry the Luggage Compartment Light - 1 - out of the luggage compartment trim - arrow - using the (VAS 3409).

Disconnect electrical connection - arrow -.

Bulb, replacing

-

Push the Luggage Compartment Light contact plate - 1 - outward and remove the soffit - 2 - from the socket.
