Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

EVAP Components, Engine Codes BGP, BGQ, CBTA and CBUA

EVAP Canister

Removing

-

Remove the cover bolts - arrows - and cover -  A -.

With Engine Code BGP and CBTA

Disconnect the lines - 1 -, - 2 - and -  3 -. To do so, press in or press together the securing ring.

-

Press the locking mechanisms on the bolt points in - direction of arrow - using a screwdriver and remove the Evaporative Emission (EVAP)
canister - 4 -.

With Engine Code BGQ and CBUA

-

Perform the removing the same way as on vehicles with engine codes BGP and CBTA.
