Shifter M/T: Adjustments

Shift Mechanism, Adjusting

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Locking pin (T10027 A)

‹› The following points are essential to ensure correct shift adjustment: 

‹› Operating and transfer elements of shift mechanism must be in proper condition.

‹› Shift mechanism must move freely.

‹› The transmission, clutch and clutch mechanism must be in proper condition. 

‹› Transmission in neutral position.

Remove air filter housing if bracket - A - and securing mechanism from shift cable and selector lever cable are not accessible through it.

Pull locking mechanism on shift cable and selector cable forward in direction of - arrow 1 - up to stop and then turn it toward the left in direction
of - arrow 2 - to lock it.
