Sunroof with Glass Panel

Removing

‹› Always replace guides with cable as a pair.

-

Removing sunroof glass panel. Refer to --> [ Sunroof with Glass Panel ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Sunroof With Glass

Remove sunroof drive motor. Refer to --> [ Sunroof Glass Panel Drive Motor ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Sunroof Glass
Panel Drive Motor.

Removing installation unit. Refer to --> [ Installation Unit ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation Unit.

Remove slotted guide rail. Refer to --> [ Slotted Guide Rail ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Slotted Guide Rail.

Using a screwdriver, carefully disengage rain channel -  1 - in - direction of arrow - on both sides at bearing on guide retaining tabs - 2 - and
remove rain channel.

Disengage clip mechanisms - arrows - of upper end piece - 1 - from lower end piece - 2 - using a screw driver and pull it upward and off.

Slide lower part of rear guide - 1 - in -  direction of arrow - in guide rail - 3 - until the lock mechanism of guide catch - 2 - is released.
