Installing

To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

‹› Removal and installation of components is described for right backrest. The same instructions apply for removal and installation of components

for left backrest.

Removing

Vehicles with folding armrest storage unit

Remove storage unit with center armrest. Refer to --> [ Storage Unit with Center Armrest ] See: Storage Unit With Center Armrest.

All vehicles

-

Fold the bench seat forward.

Remove the backrest. Refer to --> [ Backrest ] See: Service and Repair/Rear Seats/Backrest.

Press corresponding button in headrest guide and pull headrest -  2 - out of backrest.

Press side locking mechanisms - arrows - and release belt extraction panel - 1 - from mounts.

‹› Belt extraction panel - 1 - has a one-time locking mechanism and therefore must be replaced when installing.
