side of the center air outlet, on top of the ridges, -arrows- as shown. Apply to right and left side of center air outlet.

Turn center air outlet over.

Trim pieces of foam tape insulation, Part No. 1Y0 871 435, to size
(95 mm) and apply along the inside lip of the center air outlet, - arrows- as shown. DO NOT cover center alignment holes.
Note:

Inspect center air outlet mounting holes for cracks.

Install center air outlet. See Repair Manual Heating & Air Conditioning Group 80, Heating, Ventilation.
Note:
Ensure proper installation and torque of center air outlet and mounting hardware. Replace all missing or stripped nuts and screws. See ¢ª Required
