Fuel filter with attachments

16. Vacuum line

From Leak Detection Pump (LDP) V144 to intake manifold

-

Clipped in at fuel tank

-

Ensure seated tightly

17. Vent line

-

From EVAP canister to Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve N80

-

Clipped in at fuel tank

-

Ensure seated tightly

18. Oil seal

-

Replace

-

To install, place into opening of fuel tank dry

-

Only coat inner part with fuel when installing fuel delivery unit.

19. Fuel pump

-

Check fuel pump

-

Note installed position in fuel tank

-

With Fuel level sensor G

-

Fuel level sensor G, removing and installing

-

Clean strainer if soiled

20. Locking ring, 110 Nm

-

Ensure seated tightly

-

Use wrench 3087 to remove and install

21. Return line

-

Blue

-

Clipped to side of fuel tank

-

Ensure seated tightly

22. Cap

-

BGP: Threaded connection

-

BGQ: Bayonet connection

-

Replace gaskets if damaged

23. Tank flap unit

-

With rubber cup

-

Removing and installing.

24. To EVAP canister
25. Supply line

Black

-

Clipped to side of fuel tank

-

Ensure seated tightly

Installation position of fuel delivery unit

Tab - 2 - on fuel delivery unit must lie between tabs - 1 - and - 3 -.

NOTE:

-

Arrow - points in direction of travel.

-

The fuel delivery unit can only be installed in this position.
