Air Injection Pump: Procedures

Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Motor V101, Removing And Installing

Removing

-

Remove sound insulation

-

Disconnect connectors - 1 - and - 2 -.

-

Press out clip - 3 - for cable guide

-

Press out cable clip at top front mounting bolt.

-

Pull off pressure hose - 1 - and intake duct - 2 -. Release by pressing securing ring together.

Remove bolts and remove Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump motor V101 upward and out. Compress lower bolt (rubber mount) slightly to clear
transmission.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-

Make sure pressure and intake hoses are securely engaged at Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump motor V101.

Tightening torque:
