* Coat stud bolts on exhaust manifold with hot bolt paste.

Front Exhaust Pipe With Catalytic Converter And Attachments, Assembly Overview (Engine Code: BGP)

1. Exhaust manifold

-

Coat stud bolts with high-temperature lubricant

2. Gasket

-

Replace

-

Note installed position.

-

The gasket recess - arrow A - must be located at the exhaust manifold recess - arrow B -.

3. 25 Nm

-

Replace

4. Front exhaust pipe

-

With catalytic converter

-

Protect from shocks and impact stress

-

With decoupling element

-

Do not bend decoupling element more than 10 degrees - otherwise it may be damaged

-

Install exhaust system free of stress

5. Clamp

-

Before fastening exhaust system, align free of tension

-

Installed location

-

Tighten bolts evenly

6. 25 Nm
7. 23 Nm
8. Front crossmember
9. Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) G130 * 55 Nm

-

Only use high-temperature lubricant to lubricate the threads; do not let lubricate get onto slits of oxygen sensor body
