Fuel Injectors, Removing And Installing

Removing

NOTE:

Observe the safety precautions

-

Observe the rules for cleanliness

-

First determine whether a coded radio is installed. In this case, obtain anti-theft coding.

Disconnect battery

-

Remove engine cover with air filter

CAUTION:  Fuel supply line is under pressure. Wear eye protection and protective clothing in order to avoid injuries from contact with fuel.
Before removing a hose connection wrap a cloth around the connection. Then release pressure by carefully pulling hose off connection.

Disconnect vent line - 1 - and fuel supply line - 3 -. Press in securing ring to disengage lines.

Disconnect connectors - 1 -, - 2 - and - 6 -.

-

Remove wiring harness - 3 - from transport strap.

-

Pull clamps - 4 - and retaining ring - 5 - out of retainer.

-

Remove bolts - 7 - and remove transport strap.
