Removing

Remove side upholstery:

With Side Airbag.

Remove C-pillar trim. Refer to => [ C-Pillar Trim, Sedan ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar
and Side Trim/C-Pillar Trim, Sedan.

Remove the rear shelf. Refer to => [ Rear Shelf ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar and Side
Trim/Rear Shelf.

Remove the bolt - 1 - (40 Nm) and remove seat belt guide - 2 - from body.
Vehicles with belt tensioner

Disconnect vehicle battery. Refer to =>
CAUTION!
Electrostatic discharges can lead to an unintended deployment of the airbag. Therefore, technician must electrostatic discharge
him-/herself before disconnecting harness connector. This is done by briefly grasping the chassis or door striker.

Disconnect wiring harness - 3 -.

Remove the bolt - 4 - (40 Nm) and remove automatic belt retractors - 5 - from body - arrow -.
