Alternator Pulley: Service and Repair

Generator Ribbed Belt Pulley, Removing And Installing

Ribbed Belt Pulley Without Overrunning Clutch, Removing and Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

-

Socket VAS 3310

-

Torque wrench VAG 1332 (or equivalent 40 - 200 Nm)

Removing:

-

Remove generator

-

Clamp generator at mounting points in a vise.

-

Use socket insert VAS 3310 to Remove nut of overrunning clutch pulley from generator shaft.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following.

-

Tighten all fasteners according to value in table

Ribbed belt pulley with freewheel, removing and installing, manufacturer: Bosch
