FM Frequency Filter, Positive Wire

FM frequency filters are located behind both upper C-pillar trim. 

Removing

CAUTION!
‹› Switch off all electrical consumers.

‹› Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

Remove left C-pillar trim. 

-

Disconnect electrical connection - 2 - and ground  cable - 3 - (2 Nm).

Unclip filter - 4 - from C-pillar.

Positive wire is routed in wiring harness to Vehicle Electrical  System Control Module (J519).

Cut positive wire in an appropriate location.

Wiring from connection - 2 - is soldered to rear window -  1 -.
