Condition

Fuel Door Switch Falls into Left Door Trim Panel

Technical Background

Customer may press down too hard rather than lifting up to activate the door switch assembly. This excessive action may cause the switch retaining tabs
to crack or break, allowing the switch to fall into the door trim panel.

Production Solution

Modification of the mold to avoid plastic residue.

Service

Remove door trim panel, see Repair Group 70 in ElsaWeb.

Retrieve switch assembly. Invert and secure door panel.
