Press the lever on brake caliper - 1 - in - direction of arrow - and unhook the brake cable - 2 -.

Connect the bleeder hose from the bleeder bottle to the bleeder valve on the brake caliper and then open the bleeder valve.

Insert the (VAG 1869/2).

Close the bleeder valve and remove the bleeder bottle.

Remove the brake line.

Remove both bolts for the brake caliper, counter hold on the guide pins when doing this.

Remove the brake caliper from the brake carrier.
Installing
‹› Piston is pressed back.
‹› Brake pads sit in the anti-rattle springs on the brake carrier.

Secure the brake caliper on the brake carrier using new self locking bolts.

Install the brake hose to the brake caliper.
