Lighting - Moisture Inside Backup Lamps

Taillight, Rear Lid, Moisture Accumulation 

Excessive condensation is visible on the inside backup taillight(s) located on the lid.

NOTE: Condensation does not affect performance of light assemblies.

Technical Background

NOTE:  Exterior light assemblies (headlights, taillights, fog lights, turn signals) are vented and may collect some moisture on their inner surfaces,
depending on humidity and other climatic changes.

Taillight seal may have been damaged by excessive torque applied to the mounting screw.
