Fluid Filter - A/T: Service and Repair
ATF Strainer
Removing
-
Remove oil pan --> [ ATF Oil Pan ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Fluid Pan/Service and Repair.

Remove ATF strainer bolts - arrows -.
-
Pull ATF strainer - A - off valve body.
Installing
-
Thinly coat seals on intake neck of ATF strainer with ATF.

The ATF strainer must be replaced if seals are loose or faulty.

Place ATF strainer - A - onto valve body and tighten bolts - arrows - to specification: --> [ Tightening Specifications ] See:
