Removing

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

Place container underneath fuel filter.
CAUTION!
Fuel supply line is under pressure! Wear protective goggles and protective clothing to prevent injuries and contact with skin. Before
loosening the fuel lines, place a cloth around the connection point. Then release pressure by carefully disconnecting the connection.

Disconnect the fuel lines - 1 -, - 2 - and - 3 -, press in the securing ring to do so.

Remove the bolt - 4 -.

Remove the fuel filter.
Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When doing this note the following:
The direction of flow is marked on the filter housing with arrows.

Bleed the fuel system. Refer to --> [ Fuel System, Bleeding ] See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Service and Repair/Procedures.
