Remove the heat shield from the subframe.

Remove bolts - 3 -, - 6 -, -  11 - and - 16 - for the steering gear and stabilizer bar brackets.

-

Secure the subframe and brackets. Refer to --> [ Subframe Locating ] See: Suspension/Cross-Member/Front Cross-Member/Service and
Repair/Procedures/Subframe Locating.

-

Place the (VAG 1383A) under the subframe.
