–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
   
–  Unclip trim -1- from mirror housing. To do this loosen locking device -arrow- with a screwdriver.
  M66-0086
–  Push a screwdriver -2-, in -direction of arrow-, against the locking device over the retainer -5- and release mirror housing -1-.
–  Release mirror housing -1- from lower retainer -4- and release connection for turn signal -3- and pull connector off.
–  Take mirror housing -1- off mirror base carrier -4- by turning respectively.
