Central locking and convenience system - Assembly overview
1 - Coupling station
q   Location: Bottom of A-pillar, covered by footwell trim
–  Remove A-pillar lower trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
–  Removing and installing (Cabriolet) → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.68
2 - Anti-theft alarm horn
q   Location: On right behind plenum chamber sealing cover
q   Removing:
–  Remove plenum chamber sealing part → Chapter
3 - Front right power window switch
q   For convenience system only
4 - Aerial for remote control
q   Under A-pillar trim
5 - Interior locking switch, front passenger’s side
6 - Front right door control unit
q   For convenience system only
q   Integrated into window regulator motor
q   Removing:
–  Removing door trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
–  Unbolt window regulator motor
7 - Front right door lock
q   Door lock is secured on assembly carrier
q   The electric central locking is integrated in the door lock module
q   Removing:
–  Removing door trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
–  Removing door lock → Chapter, Cabriolet → Chapter
8 - Fuel tank filler flap motor -V155-
q   Location: Under C-pillar trim
q   Remove → Chapter
9 - Exterior mirror adjustment switch and change-over switch
10 - Interior locking switch, driver’s side
11 - Rear lid remote release motor
q   Bolted to rear lid
q   Lock cylinder microswitch is also located on carrier
q   The motor -V151- can only be removed in conjunction with the carrier
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
12 - Coupling station
q   Location: On left in luggage compartment
q   Not on Cabriolet
13 - Lid lock
q   Bolted to lid
q   Removing:
–  Removing rear lid trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
–  Removing lid lock → Chapter, Cabriolet → Chapter
14 - Front left door lock
q   Door lock is secured on assembly carrier
q   The electric central locking is integrated in the door lock module
q   Removing:
–  Removing door trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
–  Removing door lock → Chapter, Cabriolet → Chapter
15 - Front left door control unit
q   For convenience system only
q   Integrated into window regulator motor
q   Removing:
–  Removing door trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
–  Unbolt window regulator motor
16 - Controls
q   With switch to release fuel tank filler flap and rear lid
q   Installed in door trim.
q   Removing:
–  Removing door trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
17 - Coupling station
q   Location: Bottom of A-pillar, covered by footwell trim
–  Remove A-pillar lower trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
–  Removing and installing (Cabriolet) → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.68
18 - Electric window switch
q   For convenience system only
19 - Central control unit
q   Bolted to bracket on steering column under dash panel
q   To remove, first remove trim under steering column → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr. 68
20 - Bonnet lock
q   Contact switch for anti-theft alarm
q   Location: in lock carrier
q   Remove lid lock → Chapter
