  WARNING
Models with leather equipment must not be fitted with standard heater elements for cloth covered seats.
There is a danger of the seat heater overheating.
   
–  Remove seat → Chapter.
–  Remove backrest → Chapter.
–  Remove backrest cover ► 04.03 and Cabriolet  → Chapter.
–  Remove backrest cover 05.03  ► → Chapter.
–  Disconnect connector -5-.
–  Guide cable -1- through opening -2- in centre section of padding -3- and remove heater element -4-.

  Note
In models with leather equipment 05.03 ►, please note that the heater element is integrated into the backrest cover and can only be replaced together with the backrest cover.
