Remove bolts - 3 -, - 4 - and - 8 -.

-

Remove attachment bolts for fuse panel to instrument panel.

-

Pull off instrument panel base unit - 1 - from crossmember - 2 - and remove from vehicle.

Installing

-

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:
-

After connecting battery, vehicle options (radio, clock, electric window regulator) must be checked according to repair manual and/or user
manual.

-

If DTC memory was erased or Motronic Engine Control Module J220 (ECM) was disconnected from battery, readiness code must be
generated again.

-

After completing installation, on vehicles with ABS perform basic setting of Steering Angle Sensor G85.

-

If Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) K75 indicates malfunction after installation, DTC memory must be erased using Fault Read Out
Device V.A.G 1551 and checked again.
