Front Bumper - Assembly Overview

Assembly Overview

NOTE:

-

The front bumper cover is a component part of the front end and must be removed together.

-

It is essential that the tightening sequence of the bolts/screws - 10 -, - 12 -, - 15 - are observed to ensure conciseness of joints/shut lines etc.

1. Cover

Removing:
-

Remove wheel housing liners.

-

Removing front part.

-

Dismantle headlight washer system, if necessary.

-

Remove bolts -- and remove clips -- on left and right sides.

Remove bolts -- and --.

2. Wing
3. Bumper carrier

-

USA- Remove version with impact damper.

4. Insulation

-

Bonded with Butyl adhesive cord AKL 450 005 05

5. Bolt

-

Qty 4

30 Nm

6. Bolt

With welded captive nuts
