Door Lock, Removing and Installing (Convertible)

Door Lock, Removing and Installing (Convertible)

The door lock and the loudspeaker are secured to the assembly carrier.
The door lock can only be removed in conjunction with the subframe.

Removing

-

Remove front door trim.

-

Removing lock cylinder housing.

-

Unclip clip - 1 - from door handle.

-

Remove bolts - 1 - tightening torque: 20 Nm

Disconnect all connectors and wiring harness clips - arrows -.

-

Remove bolts/screws - 1 -, - 3 - and nut - 2 -. Pull top of mounting plate off door, lift and take out of door towards hinges.

-

Turn mounting plate and pull connector off door lock.
