Disconnect connector - 1 - on models with a brake pad wear indicator.

Install suction bottle bleeder hose on the brake caliper bleeder valve and then open bleeder valve.

Use the Brake pedal depressor V.A.G 1869/2.

Close bleeder valve and remove suction bottle.

-

Remove brake hose.

-

Remove protective caps - arrows -.

-

Pry brake pad retaining spring out from brake caliper housing - arrow - with a screwdriver and remove.

-

Remove both guide pins - arrows - from brake caliper. Remove brake caliper from brake carrier.

-

Remove brake pads from brake caliper.

Installing
