2. Warning label on the back of the passengers sun visor

Accident involving activation of airbag
Always exchange following:

All deployed airbag units along with control modules and sensors
-
Support for front passenger's module
-
Return spring with slip ring
-
All seat belts with triggered seat belt tensioners

In addition following must be replaced if necessary (visual check):

All damaged components/items

Front Advanced Airbags on the passenger side of a New Beetle Sedan or Convertible, that have only deployed the first stage, can cause
serious personal injury if the second stage deploys inadvertently.

Always carefully follow safety instructions when working on airbag systems or handling airbag units that have not deployed or have not
deployed completely.
Accident not involving airbag deploying

If Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) -K75- does not indicate a malfunction, there is no necessity to replace airbag components. Seat belts
should be checked separately.
After replacing airbag units or control module, affix stickers (only tear off strips) to registration card and return registration card to relevant sales center
or importer for registration.
Registration card 000 010 227 C must be ordered separately.
