Remove cover - 5 - upward.

Remove bolts - 9 - (12 Nm), remove airbag unit from brace - 3 - (must be replaced when airbag deployed).

CAUTION:  Electrostatic charges may result in involuntary deployment of the airbag. Therefore, the technician must be electrostatically
discharged before disconnecting ignition- and Ground (GND) wires. This is done e.g. by briefly grasping the chassis or door striker.

Disconnect harness connector - 7 - from wiring harness - 8 - (secured to passengers side airbag).

NOTE:  Always check for latest replacement parts information.
