Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf ): Service and Repair

Springs/shock absorbers, removing and installing 

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required 

Torque wrench V.A.G 1332

Spring compressor V.A.G 1752

-

Spring bracket V.A.G 1752/3

-

Adapter V.A.G 1752/9

Removing spring 

-

Insert spring tensioner - 1 -.

-

Compress coil spring far enough until it can be removed.

-

Remove spring.

1. Spring tensioner V.A.G 1752/1
2. Adapter V.A.G 1752/9
3. Bracket V.A.G 1752/3

Installing spring 
-

Check whether zinc rest is damaged.

-

Replace if necessary.

-

Install spring together with spring rest.
