Wiper Blade: Service and Repair

Wiper Rubber, Removing and Installing

Removing

-

Using pair of pliers press together both steel strips on the enclosed side of rubber.

-

Slide sideways out of upper clip and remove rubber complete with strips from other clips of wiper blades.

Installing

-

Slide new rubber into lower clips of wiper blade.

Insert both strips in first groove of rubber, so recesses in strips face rubber and engage in rubber lugs of groove.

Using pliers press both steel strips and rubber together, insert in upper clips so lugs of clips on both sides engage in retaining slots -arrow- of wiper
blade rubber.
