Open rear lid

-

Rotate holding clips and fold luggage compartment rear carpeting (below lock carrier) forward
-

Remove push pin retainers -4- on lock carrier trim panel -1-

-

Pry lock carrier trim panel off of clips -2- on side trim panels

-

Unhook top corner edges of lock carrier trim panel from side panel, lift out of clips -5- and rubber seal -3- and set lock carrier trim panel -1-

Check amplifier for a small green label with words "CORRIENTE OK":

NOTE:  The label can be in a different location other then where it is shown in the illustration. A flashlight and mirror will be helpful to view
opposite end

If the green label is on the amplifier, no further work is required, reinstall lock carrier trim panel

If the green label is not on the amplifier, proceed to section B

Section B - Amplifier Replacement

-

Obtain anti-theft radio security code and record radio preset stations

-

Switch off all electrical consumers

-

Switch ignition key to the "OFF" position and remove key

-

Open hood and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal
