Shift Interlock Solenoid: Service and Repair
6 Speed Automatic 09G

Shift lock solenoid -N110-, removing and installing 

Removing 

-

Check whether a coded radio is installed. If so, obtain anti-theft coding.

-

Move selector lever to position "R".

-

With ignition switched off disconnect battery Ground strap.

-

Remove selector mechanism and printed circuit board cover.

-

Disconnect connector (arrow) off Shift lock solenoid -N110-.

-

Pull rod upward and move selector lever to position "P" holding rod in upward position.

-

Raise vehicle.

-

Loosen double clamp -A- and slide to rear.

-

Remove tunnel bridge -B- located beneath exhaust system.

-

Remove heat shields -C- and -D-.

-

Remove 4 nuts (arrows -A-).

-

Remove 2 bolts (arrows -B-).
