Brake pedal

Retaining tabs

Insert release tool (T10006 A) and pull in direction of driver's seat, counter hold at brake pedal (pedal must not move rearward at this point). This
will press the mount's retaining tabs -  3 - off the ball head of the push rod - 2 -.

‹› For the sake of illustration, the figure shows separation of the brake pedal from the brake booster with the pedal assembly removed.

Pull release tool (T10006 A) together with brake pedal toward driver's seat. (This will pull brake pedal off of ball head of push rod).

Connecting

Hold ball head of push rod in front of mount and press brake pedal toward brake booster so that the ball head engages audibly. 

Installation is carried out in reverse sequence of removal.
