Locate the upper cap portion index mark.

Position the lower cap so that the molded parallel lines (black arrows) align with the handle of the top portion, and the top piece index mark rests
between the parallel lines.

Align the upper portion of the cap over the lower portion and press firmly together.

Tip:

The oil filler cap will not be damaged during this action and will operate as designed.
