Gasket

‹› Replace

‹› Note the installed position:

Casting mark points upward.

Intake Manifold

‹› Removal and installation, refer to => [ Intake Manifold ] See: Intake Manifold.

O-ring

‹› Replace if damaged.

Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor (G71 )

Bolt, 3.5 Nm

Coolant Connections

‹› Only for the throttle valve control module heated by coolant.

Bolt, 6.5 Nm

Throttle Valve Control Module (J338)

‹› With the throttle drive (for Electronic Power Control (EPC)) (G186), throttle drive angle sensor 1 (for EPC)) (G187) and throttle drive angle

sensor 2 (for EPC) (G188)

‹› When replacing, erase the adaptation values and adapt the Engine Control Module (ECM) to the throttle valve control module. Refer to vehicle

diagnosis, testing and information system "Guided Functions".
