‹› Due to equipment variations, small deviations must be considered during removal and installation.

‹› Obtain the radio code before disconnecting the battery.

Remove the ashtray -=> [ (Item 26) Ashtray ] See: Console/Service and Repair/Center Console Assembly Overview- and beverage holder -=> [
(Item 27) Beverage Holder ] See: Console/Service and Repair/Center Console Assembly Overview-.

Lift up parking brake lever, disengage trim using a screwdriver and pull off from parking brake lever toward front - arrow -.

Disengage boot - 1 - of selector lever at center console and push upward.

Only if necessary for the continuing work sequence, remove clamp -  2 - and remove shift knob with boot.

‹› Install the clamp.
