Unscrew and remove both guide pins - arrows - from brake caliper housing.

Remove brake caliper housing from brake carrier.

-

Remove brake pads from brake caliper housing.

Installing

‹› The piston is pushed back.

Uni-directional Brake Pads

1 - Right brake pad, piston side

2 - Left brake pad, piston side; vehicles from model year 2001 with wear indicator

Insert brake pads.

When installed, arrow on the backing plate -  A - of brake pad must face downward. Make certain of this!
