CAUTION!
‹› When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying
tool ( (VAS 3409), screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.
Removing

Disconnect the Battery (A). Refer to => [ Battery A, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and
Repair/Procedures/Battery A, Disconnecting and Connecting.

Carefully pry out the side covers from the instrument panel.

Remove the instrument panel trim panel on the driver side.

Remove the screws - 1 - and remove the fuse panel - 2 -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Tighten the screw to 3 Nm.
Current fuse assignments.
Relay Panel and 13-Pin Relay Carrier
Fuse Panel and Relay Carrier
