Pipe/hose assembly, removing and installing
Special tools and equipment

Filling and bleeding apparatus for brakes VAS 5234 brake filler and bleeder unit

Hose clamp 3094
Removing
^
Check whether a coded radio is installed. If so, obtain anti-theft coding.
^
With ignition switched off disconnect battery Ground strap.
^
Place a sufficiently large lint-free cloth underneath.
^
Fully remove retaining clip -A-, which secures pipe/hose, from slave cylinder.
^
Remove pipe/hose assembly from housing -C- in transmission.
^
Separate pipe/hose assembly -B- from clutch master cylinder and seal openings.
^
Remove pipe/hose assembly from support on bodywork.
