Drive Belt: Testing and Inspection
Checking V-belt
NOTE:

Before removing the V-belt mark direction of rotation. Installing opposite to the direction of rotation leads to belt damage.

If damage is has occurred, replace V-belt to prevent failure or malfunction.
Checking ribbed belt
NOTE: If damaged, replace the ribbed belt to prevent belt failure or malfunction. See: Service and Repair
