VAG 1383A Engine/transmission jack with universal transmission mounting VAG 1359/2

Refer to Steering and Suspension

Removing 

-

Only if there are no marks, mark position of rear driveshaft sections on constant velocity joints with paint (arrows -A- and -B-).

-

Separate driveshaft from rear final drive and tie up.

-

Place transmission jack VAG 1383A with universal transmission mounting 1359/2 under final drive and support final drive.

-

Remove transmission support securing bolts (arrows).

-

Carefully lower final drive until flange is accessible.

-

Mark position of pinion shaft securing nut with paint.
