Condition
Vehicles which have had the engine compartment degreased/cleaned should be re-coated with Kats 3000V acrylic coating.
Service
Application Procedure
^
rinse engine with water using a "high pressure washer system" to remove loose dirt and grit and dry with compressed air
^
apply Kats 3000V Part No. 176 050 102 with a standard paint spray gun
^
80-90 psi air line pressure
^
allow 5 min. to fully dry at room temperature
Caution
Vehicle and coating material MUST be close to room temperature (60° - 90 or 16° - 32° C) during application and drying process. Avoid direct
spraying of belts and belt drives.
Note:
If a paint spray gun is not available, a hand held trigger type spray bottle with a high atomization nozzle can be used.
