Crankshaft Timing Marks
4. Rotate the crankshaft to bring the #1 cylinder to top dead center (TDC). Align the vibration damper and flywheel timing marks as shown.

NOTE: The intermediate shaft does not require timing or alignment.
5. Mount the drive belt on the camshaft sprocket. Match the belt to the sprocket teeth so that there is as little slack as possible between the crankshaft
and the intermediate shaft sprockets, and between the intermediate shaft and the camshaft sprockets.
6. Tighten the belt. Turn the tensioner clockwise until the belt has the proper tension, then secure it with the locknut.
