Unscrew retainer -1- from ABS wheel speed sensor wire (arrows).
Installing

Before installing new ABS wheel speed sensor replace clamping sleeve.
^
Before installing ABS wheel speed sensor, clean inner surface of bore hole and coat ABS wheel speed sensor with solid lubricant paste G 000 650.
^
Push ABS wheel speed sensor into wheel bearing housing by hand.
Checking, removing and installing rotor on rear axle
^
Raise vehicle.
^
Remove wheel.
^
Pull speed sensor out of wheel bearing housing.
^
Check for damaged or dirty rotor.
^
If rotor is damaged, remove drive axle with rotor and replace drive axle with outer constant velocity joint.
